It provides 1500 watts of steam power, to safely and effectively remove wallpaper, without the use of harsh chemicals and strippers. The water reservoir holds one gallon of water, providing up to 70 minutes of operation.
This machine has an 11-foot steam hose and a six foot power cord, which means it can be used to reach most areas.
It is also simple to operate. The instructions recommend to first score the wallpaper with a scoring tool or putty knife, to allow steam to penetrate the wallpaper. Once the machine is ready (it takes 12-15 minutes to produce steam), hold the 8×11 steam plate flat against the scored wallpaper for 10 seconds, then use a scraper blade to remove the wallpaper.

On Amazon, this machine has a strong 4-1/2 star rating, with the majority of owners giving it five stars. Overall, most stated that it was easy to use and that it was effective. They also liked that it was relatively inexpensive, noting that you could own this model for less than it would cost to rent a commercial wallpaper steamer for two days.
As for negatives, there were mentions that the hose does get very hot – many recommended wearing gloves and keeping small children and pets at a safe distance. It also can drip, so keep a towel on hand to catch drips. Another notable problem with the machine is that there is no on/off switch – to turn off the machine, it needs to be unplugged.
